PATCHAM TOWER MILL

Patcham Windmill, or Waterhall Mill as it is sometimes called, was probably the last windmill to be erected in Sussex. It was built as recently as 1885 and until about 20 years ago, it was in active working order. Of recent years its structure has rapidly deteriorated, and now, in 1953, its pitiful condition, as shown here, is such, that prompt and complete renovation will be needed to preserve it.
