OLD PORTSLADE, SOUTHERN CROSS AND PORTSLADE-BY-SEA

Three old houses, though not as old as they looked, 111, 113 and 115, Old Shoreham Road, adjoining the Southern Cross Inn, photographed during the 1960s. They were the subject of some controversy during proceedings to acquire them for road widening. Demolished, late 1970s.
