HOVE, PORTSLADE, SOUTHWICK AND SHOREHAM HORSE TRAMWAY

Headed eastwards along Albion Street, Southwick, bedecked for Queen Victoria’s Jubilee, though whether 1887 or 1897, it is impossible to tell. The tram depot where the cars were housed at night was at 187 Albion Street, just hidden from view behind the tram, in the building that was later occupied as the New Cinema.
