BRIGHTON BEACH

This is a copy of a very old photograph on the back of which the photographer has written “unloading fish at Brighton” but I think this is unlikely because of the size of the vessel being unloaded and the hard surface on which the cart is standing. It might possibly be at the end of the Chain Pier but I think almost certainly that it was Shoreham Harbour.
