MADEIRA DRIVE

Between the old Aquarium and the Chain Pier Cottages was a collection of nondescript single storey buildings, put to a variety of uses chiefly in the summer months. This photograph of 1898 shows one selling greens and fruit. All these buildings went when the cottages were removed in 1927, prior to the rebuilding of the Aquarium.
