PARK CRESCENT

Photographs showing the rear of the houses and the extensive grounds, in 1925. They were then almost 100 years old as the Crescent was designed by Amon Henry Wilds in 1829 and built soon afterwards. Forty years later, both houses and the grounds have a shabbier appearance. One wonders what the next development of this large area will be. Probably flats, but not for many years yet.
