HANGLETON AREA

A closer view of the same buildings, more than 6 years later, on 13 December 1959. By now most of Hangleton way had been built up and houses were threatening to creep down the old farm road towards the church. The purpose of this photograph is to show this road as many of us remember it, when it used to run up to the Dyke Railway line, which crossed it here at right angles.
