QUEENS ROAD

The Feathers Hotel at the corner of Queens Road and Gloucester Road just before its rebuilding. The adjoining tailor’s shop was then re-absorbed. As the façade suggests this is a single building which was erected as an hotel in 1844, soon after the opening of Brighton Station, though in later years part of the premises passed into other occupation.
