About 150 yards further north, but on the other side of Falmer Road, were these kennels. They were south of Crescent Drive South but above Brownleaf Road. They remained here until the 1914-18 War. Afterwards several houses were built here fronting Falmer Road, and Brownleaf Road was laid out.
