RICHMOND STREET

The same corner in 1956. It is intended to demolish most of this area under a slum clearance scheme and to build large blocks of flats on the cleared sites. The future of this modern public house is therefore uncertain and it may have to be removed. Date of photograph – 19 April 1956.
